This is a 1U 10 Channel Identification subrack. Each of the 10 channels stores a message followed by 3 seconds zero level 1kHz tone. An inbuilt microphone with compressor and limiter makes it very easy to record messages, provision is made for an external recording source. Each channel has a balanced audio input via a rear panel 15 way 'D' plugs, this audio input can be switched via a relay to the audio outputs instead of the recorded identification message. Control of the changeover relay is done via a rear panel 9 way 'D' sockets. Audio outputs are balanced and are on two rear panel 15 way 'D' sockets. Each channel also has a front panel jack that provides an output/ listen of the channels recorded message.
