This unit is a 5 channel portable version of our popular GS1U-027. It is
physically robust as it is built specifically for the rigours of outside broadcast use.
The GSOZ2 is designed to provide 5 channels of continuously repeated short messages
followed by line up tone to identify programme lines.
Each of the five channels can hold up to 16 seconds of speech. If less than 16 seconds are
recorded the remaining time is filled with line up tone at 1kHz.
The recorded messages are stored in a non-volatile memory so are remembered even in the
absence of power.

An inbuilt microphone with compressor and limiter makes it very easy to
record messages. A balanced 0dBu input is also provided on an XLR socket so messages can
also be recorded from an external source.
The unit is powered from either internal batteries (2 off Alkaline ‘D’ Cells) or
from an external 6 – 9 volt PSU. Battery life is about 10 Hours.
