GSTX14 RANGE OF MIXERS

These mixers have been designed initially for TV. They are stereo and intended for videotape and telecine use.

The mixer is of modular design with different combinations of modules available.

The mixer has stereo inputs (except GSC66) and two seperate stereo O/Ps. The PF output is however mono.

All inputs and outputs are transformer balanced.

All the channels are VCA operated to permit remote control. The remote control inputs are simple DC inputs (0 to 5v DC -20dB/v).

In some versions 1 or 2 EQ modules are provided. These can be switched to any channel by a 16 position rotary switch on each EQ module. LEDs on the channels show when the EQ are selected. Operation of the rotary switch automatically de-selects the EQ.

An external power supply is required for these mixers. We can supply a 1U PSU designed specially for them made to BS415 class 2. Chassis, 0 volt DC and Mains earths are kept separated and appear on terminals on the rear panel.

No monitoring other than PF is provided (an external loop is made whenever PF is selected).

GSC62
This is a simple output module (no fader)

GSC63
The stereo channel module has EQ LED indicators, PF button and fader. Remote fader button and indicator. Switchable to 1 or 2 outputs, Gain control with +/- 10dB and balance control.

GSC64
Main output module with 2 faders and PF.

GSC65
Equaliser module with 16 channel rotary selector switch and bypass button.
LF control switchable at 160Hz or 60Hz +/- 12dB.
Mid control switchable at 500Hz, 1K Hz, 2K Hz or 4K Hz Bell shaped +/- 12dB.
HF control swichable 10K Hz or 15K Hz +/- 12dB.

GSC66
The mono channel with the same facilities as GSC63.

GSM55
Stereo delay module, assignable to any channel. A front panel switch sets the delay to 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 fields. (1 Field = 1/50 sec).
