Stand 5K1-04, Broadcast Asia, Singapore, 1-3 June 2022:?Glensound, industry leader in high quality audio systems, will showcase its market-leading range of production sound devices at Broadcast Asia 2022. The company specialises in networked audio connectivity built on the Dante/AES67 standards and will highlight several new products on its stand, including an updated version of its popular reporter’s mobile hybrid, and a new product for the simple audio production of eSports.
Glensound will also demonstrate its products with a proven track record, including network audio interfaces, announcer and commentator panels, and a network intercom system ideal for production centres and temporary installations.?
The newly launched Glensound Nomad is a portable pack for live audio, built on mobile phone connectivity, including 4G. It has an XLR input (mic or line) and a headphone jack, and by using the data carrier for 7kHz audio it provides excellent audio quality with full talkback for interviews, remote commentary or in-ear monitoring. Power is from internal batteries or USB.?
Making its Broadcast Asia debut is Glensound’s latest GTM solution, part of its Dante/AES67 audio over IP range, managing the firewall challenges of eSports audio. Multiple units can be remotely configured ever the network to ensure the right feeds go to each unit, and users have individual level controls for their own microphones, team talk and live audience and commentary.?
There will be two other new additions to the Dante/AES67 networked audio range on show. First, the PM4 paging microphone for the Beatrice intercom range delivers four switchable output channels and an integrated frequency shifter to reduce the possibility of feedback. Like most Dante units, it is powered over ethernet, ensuring simplicity and flexibility of installation.?
Second, the AoIP2M twin microphone amplifier for live and stage use. Two XLRs with selectable 48V phantom power and individual gain controls feed onto the network. Practicality is ensured as the device is in a small yet rugged, “throw-down” box.?
Marc Wilson, Managing Director at Glensound, commented: “We are delighted to meet with our customers and contacts face-to-face at Broadcast Asia once again. Our business is driven by our dedication to understanding the operational needs of the market in detail and developing products that make production easier – or even adapting existing products to tackle a particular challenge.”?
Senior staff from Glensound will be available throughout Broadcast Asia to discuss individual requirements, on stand 5K1-04.
